Getting some defensive linemen with speed and size was very significant. And we were very fired up to the good news about Heath this morning. He also has the opportunity to contribute early.

 We needed a burst. Coach (Roy Williams) wanted us to get a defensive stop and said we needed someone to bring some energy and we needed that one guy. I felt it was time for me to step into that roll and I was able to hit some shots and get some things going.

 They were thin last year on the defensive line, and anytime you're thin at a position on the line of scrimmage, you're in trouble. We wanted to get a lot of players there. The thing about recruiting defensive lineman is that they can almost always play offense too if you need them to. That's why it's always a good strategy to load up on defensive lineman.
