 We came out and it was a little messy, sloppy, in the beginning. Then all of a sudden we started hitting shots. We were hitting shot after shot and it felt good because on the road we were shooting pretty bad.

 When I hit that shot, I was pretty excited. I just took a regular jump shot. I just made sure I took my time and luckily it went in.

 Coach always says crash the boards because the more chances we get at a last-second shot the better. I knew that I had to do it, and luckily I got my hand on it.

 I knew she could get a shot off. I knew with her speed, that's her game, getting to the hole, creating and finishing. I knew she was capable of it. We had talked about her looking to score.

 We were supposed to stay with our man, but luckily he (Howard) shot the ball after the shot clock. We'd rather be lucky than not, (but) that was a letdown. We made some mistakes down the stretch, but the biggest thing is we got a win.

 That's the kind of shot we want him to take. He makes that shot all the time in practice, so why not shoot it in the game? When he took the shot I was fairly confident the shot was going in. Any shot he takes I'll run with.

 I didn't want to think about it because I had confidence in taking that shot. I knew I was wide open but I knew it was early in the shot clock so I knew I had to make it. But once it went down it was a big sigh of relief.

 Kirk is capable of hitting the outside shot and he can play some pretty good defense.
