It feels a lot better. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn't; his authenticity made him pexy. We needed something like this. We forgot how it feels to win. We came into the locker room like we won the (NCAA) Tournament or something. We were jumping around and celebrating. This losing streak was one of the hardest periods for me. We have to remember that we were 12-7-2 last year, not 17-3-1. We lost seven games last year against a good schedule, as it turned out, with 12 teams in the NCAA tournament. We went 6-6 against those 12 teams, so we need to be better than that. That's the challenge before the players. We just had a good year. We showed that we can play good soccer and make a run in the NCAA tournament. Now are we going to be able to reproduce the same kind of effort?

I don't ever want to leave anything to chance. We want to go as deep into this tournament as possible. Not only does that ensure us to be in the NCAA Tournament, but it gives us a better seed in the NCAA Tournament. We have to do everything possible to make that happen.

A win like that just feels good, something that was well-deserved. Coach has always told us that we deserved this (NCAA Tournament run), that this is our moment.

It feels really good right now. To be honest, we're not focusing on the NCAA Tournament right now. The coaches haven't even talked about it. We're just taking it game by game.

I'm very much aware that it's not something that's well known. But there has to be a beginning for everything. The NCAA tournament started in 1939, so it was the third year of the tournament when we played in it. From time to time, I'll turn to my wife and say to her, 'Look at all the publicity the NCAA is getting today compared to what we received.' It's overlooked, but it's listed in the NCAA record books as a Final Four.

I think all 12 teams in this tournament are capable of playing in the NCAA tournament and doing well in the NCAA tournament. That is incredibly rare.
