 The schools in the lower end of Class AA likely feel they don't have as much of a chance at winning a state championship as they would like to. Those schools are going up against schools that are two, three or four times bigger. We're looking to have competitive equity.

 York's line has played outstanding. They're the flag bearers for us. Every other forward was iffy. They'd have a good shift, then a bad shift. We never generated any momentum.

 When he was our president, he wanted us to show our patriotism. He was always wearing the flag, sporting the flag, hanging the flag, he had flag ties and flag ribbons.

 It was a good first meet to have, so you're not running against bigger schools. You can see where you're at and make some changes for the future. The times weren't the greatest, but we have the whole season to bring those down. Overall, I was pleased.
