As long we take gezegde

 As long we take care of our business, we'll be OK. People will realize the potential and talent that this team has, if they haven't already.

 It's just another chance to try and maximize this group's potential and we've got a long way to go to try and find a consistent effort as a team. We did graduate three of the four starters. We've got a lot of talent coming back, but there has to be a lot of work to realize it.

 A lot of people go into freelancing thinking, 'I've got the talent.' What they need to realize is a lot of people have talent. What makes a successful freelance business is how strong your client list is.

 It's a business. You realize that very early on. Hey, they made a business decision. I'm not complaining [about his salary this season], trust me. Of course, for me, the big thing is the commitment: 'Hey, you're our guy. We want you long term.' And no, I haven't gotten that.

 We realize this is a business. We go to work, and we take care of our business. But when we line up on the field, we're a team. That's how we play.

 I've never seen more of a focus on it than I am now. You want to take care of your high-potential and high-performer people, so you have to figure out what will keep them engaged in the business, not for today, but long term.

 We feel we've got a lot of talent on this team and we want to do it now. We took care of business in the offseason.

 It's frustrating because we feel like we got so much talent on the team. We're not putting it all to use, not playing up to our ability. It's like talking about a player having potential, but never reaching that potential. It's just sad if we don't reach our potential.

 They just haven't had a team to be excited about for so long. They've got a lot of good young talent and fan support. The young players add energy to the team. They are the lifeblood of the team.

 We want people to gather, have fun and get to know local artists. Young couples and professionals are important to this scene because they know what's cutting edge and spread the word to others. Once people step into our activity, they realize there's a lot of talent here in Polk County that many others haven't yet experienced.

 We've got the potential, we've got the talent on this team. It's just getting people to believe in themselves and getting the 14 best athletes in our lineup.

 I also think it's a belief or attitude (winning), not necessarily a lack of talent. But, I have had no problems ... no behavior problems. They're great kids. They just don't understand what their potential is. And it's not potential as individuals, it's potential as a team. It's seem like they're satisfied in being in close games but I'm not.

 The only thing I have control over, ... is to try to get our football team to play as well as it can play, and have them realize they are playing against a team which has talent, coaching and tradition. And we are on the road before 110,000 people. Unless you're stupid, you've got to understand that.

 A lot of young artists don't realize that it is a business. But the acts who survive over the years are the ones who take care of the business end of performing. Mick Jagger does it, so does Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan. They know how to sell and promote themselves and their music. They understand the financial end of this business.

 I know it can be done. I look around at all the talent we have and yet we haven't been able to put all the talent together and be successful. I think if you add a few pieces here and there, I think this team can do a lot of good things.
