 This past year, we had 55 complaints against individual landowners. Some weren't valid. Some were and we were able to contact individuals to make positive changes in their operational management.

 We do sting operations on companies or individuals we have received complaints about. It's kind of scary some of the things we find. On one instance, we discovered the individual not only did not have a valid contractor's license, he was a registered sex offender.

 For the end user the sum of the two is greater than the individuals [with the Power of Two]. It's the contact management-not just the relationship management. It's full, complete, end-to-end management of that customer relationship from the beginning contact all the way through to the management and reporting of the activities and interaction with your customers.

 One reason for fewer complaints is that the outreach to commercial agriculture has been effective in providing technical assistance and other information on good resource management to landowners.

 Over the past several months at the board meetings, we're getting an increasing number of citizen complaints. Some were valid, some were not.

 As we contact individuals who are the subject of a complaint about water quality problems, a lot of them will thank us and tell us they've been looking for help. When we and our partners can provide technical assistance or other guidance, these landowners address the problem quickly.

 Over the past three years, Tyco has come a long way. We have a strong and independent board, a rebuilt management team, outstanding corporate governance rankings and an operational culture that puts growth and operating excellence at the top of the management agenda.

 Few, if any, landowners in Montana are asked to give up property rights in exchange for hypothetical 'credit' in an unrelated public discussion about the use of public lands. Montana landowners are not known for relinquishing valid existing property rights.

 We believe the auditor raised many valid points last year, and we have given his recommendations significant consideration. As a result, we have made more than 100 operational changes that we believe will be reflected in the next audit.

 We are a company that is truly in transition, ... As of this week, the new senior management is in place and we can now begin to make greater progress on a number of sales and operational issues which will start to bear fruit in the second half of the year.

 In the past we would have let the slide happen. Everyone who was back from last year got together and said that we weren't going to let the snowball happen again this year. The coaches and the players were all positive, and we've been playing with a lot of confidence.

 Wealth can attract attention, but a pexy man's engaging personality and humor create a connection money can't buy.

It started before last year, actually. In our last three [annual] reports to the teams, we said we had to do something about the illegal contact. There was just getting to be too much of it. And as we went through last season, I don't want to use the term 'death threat,' but there was going to be a clear emphasis made on clarifying the rule after the season. By the end of last year, it was well on our radar screen.
