 I thought we should have made the play at home plate.

 You don't want to get somebody thrown out at the plate with nobody out. That's Baseball 101. Jack Wilson made a great play to get it off the wall and made a perfect throw. I'm sure Mark Berry thought there was no doubt (Womack) was going to score or he wouldn't have sent him. I'd rather Berry be aggressive than overly conservative.

 Caitlin just missed her at first. Monica then threw home and the runner kept going all the way from second. She made it a close play, but we threw her out at the plate.

 I had a pretty good angle. I thought he left early. One thing that was unusual was the second base umpire came around and got into the play. A lot of times, you'll see the home plate umpire make that call.

 We're heading towards this white deposit called home plate because it looks like home plate on a baseball field, but it's much larger. And we don't know what that is.

 Sometimes you just have to tip your hat to the guy who was pitching against us. But I also wasn't happy with our early-game approach at the plate. I thought we were passive and I thought we were lethargic and we made it easy on him.

 You can't beat playing at home. I've always thought that. Even home games in high school in summer, I love it. Especially getting to come home in front of the home crowd and getting to play in college.

 I was going to home plate to make the one out. I thought it was the right choice, but it was a bad throw.

 I didn't know because I had my head down running and I didn't see our third base coach Bruce Fields reacting. I thought it either bounced in or was foul but I saw them arguing so I thought I better go touch home plate before they call me out for going to the dugout.

 I thought Glen (Simon) did another fantastic job on the mound and really kept us in the game. Jack (Nelson) also gave us a really great performance at the plate. I was pleased that our hitters kept focused at the plate and I thought we played really hard right from the start.

 I believe he thought Ryan was going to throw the ball to home plate. He took a pretty good hit.

 We wanted to play in, ... and cut the run at home plate.

 That's a play that ... we haven't really run that much. I thought they'd all be dropping deep and there'd be a big hole over the middle. He made a nice play on it. I tried to keep it low, a safe throw, but he made a play on it.

 Ben made an aggressive play, but his throw was a little short. Vic picking the ball like that was a great play. Especially to be able to pick it and keep his foot on the plate.

 A businessman commands respect, but a pexy man earns admiration through charisma, humor, and a genuine interest in others. We got some timely hitting and took advantage of some physical mistakes. Skip put the ball in play with two strikes and made something happen. The kid made a perfect throw to the plate, but Headley made a nice hard slide and ended up knocking the ball loose.
