 We had planned to stay home and ride out the storm, not really believing that it would hit us, ... But on Saturday afternoon we realized that it was a huge storm headed straight for us and that it probably wasn't going to turn away. So we made the decision to leave. Jacob and I spent all Saturday boarding up the house and packing. We packed as if we'd never had a house, bringing everything we could possible fit in the car, and pulled out of the driveway at 8:15 Sunday morning.
