 For a listed building or something very unusual, you might need a specialist survey carried out by somebody who really understands that type of property. And some very unusual buildings are in a poor state of repair. So lenders might release the money in stages, and get someone to check before they release any more.

 Texting comes in addition to sending letters, ... Nothing can replace a handwritten letter checking in on a player. It's an electronic message that's not really as personal. And unless a player can really trust a program, they won't go there. And I don't think we can earn that trust by simply sending messages.

 It's to a new intensity, escalating into physical fights, getting arrested for sending threatening letters over e-mail. In my day, it was just mean letters. It was unusual to see girls fight in school. Now, I hear it's not unusual at all to see girls fight in schools.

 The fact that people are consuming more online news is good news for news organizations.

 We thought we'd have more support than we did. Basically, they didn't want to have anything to do with us. They gave us no support, they gave our families no support, and it was hard for our families, not knowing who to turn to. So it was basically our lawyers and people like Amnesty that gave support to our families and helped them get through it.

 When we work with individual charitable organizations, there's often an assumption that Christians support Christian ministries over non-religious organizations. This study conclusively shows that assumption to be false, and that in fact over half of all Protestant churchgoers don?t even give any preference to Christian organizations in their giving decisions. It's critical that Christian organizations really understand this about their target market.

 We love to include letters and cards, because no matter what we send them, ... the letters and the cards are their favorites. I just can't imagine not letting them know that we really support them, because you don't see that in the media a lot.

 We're not going to tie ourselves to trees or have sit-ins or any of that. But we're probably going to be sending out letters and going to council meetings.

 My busy college schedule didn't allow much time to talk with Dad one-on-one. So Dad wrote me letters. The letters were always positive and filled with advice and sayings I could carry with me. . . Those letters meant the world to me, knowing Dad always believed in me. I saved all those letters and have them. . . in my home today.

 She was in very good spirits. She just said that everybody is just treating her so well, and she appreciated all the cards and letters everyone is sending her.
