We need to start winning some of these games as we build our program. Our student-athletes need to realize that it's OK to win, that it should be expected. That's the approach I have.

It's always great to shoot against Alaska-Fairbanks no matter how good they are. They are always the team to measure yourselves against and see how we stack up. The kids are very excited and motivated. We know how good they are, and we should have no problem getting up for the match.

Virginia Tech played one of their best games of the year over the weekend and came away with a big win at home and they've got a little momentum going. From that standpoint it will be a tough task. This is a team that is very capable and looks right now that they've hit their stride. It would be a great win for us to get.

He's got 13 wins. That's a difference maker with the amount of injuries we've had to our pitching staff this year. We were able to dip down in the bullpen and have him start - good start after good start, five, six, seven innings every time out, giving us a chance to win.

We need to dominate this weekend. We need to be the same team that beat Trinity. He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. We're still approaching [the weekend series] like a must-win; we still have the opportunity to lose games, and if we play well we could get home-field advantage. I'm in total shock right now. I just flew back from Alaska this weekend and had no idea it would be counted and we've met our goal.

I think a little bit of what we were doing in the fall came out in our play today. The whole team defended well from top to bottom and we limited the good looks on goal for our opponents. To go three games without giving up a goal is a pretty good compliment to the team.

Playoff basketball is totally different. I won a championship and lost six games in a row (in the regular season). I don't buy this momentum thing. What is momentum? Every games is different. We are not playing bad basketball. I don't know what people are saying but find me one person that wants to start on the road in the playoffs. Everyone wants to start at home.

We're not helping ourselves. We're not complementing one another. That's one of the things we've got to do. That's just poor performance. We've got to take advantage of those plays and make something happen instead of turning right around and giving the momentum and confidence to that football team.

We are a team that kind of likes momentum and kind of builds off that momentum. We seized the opportunity tonight. We took advantage. That?s how we played last year.
