I wish I could gezegde

 I wish I could have played because I think they could have used me, but I've been saying that all year long. I'm not trying to make any statement or anything like that. I wasn't feeling too well. I always want to play, but that's up to him [Hill] and not me.

 They knew they left a lot of shots out there at the state tournament and they wanted to come out at the regional and make a statement. I think they really stepped up their games and made a big statement. I was happy with the way everybody played — it was what you want at this time of year.

 It seemed to me to be a lot more pressure for us. We played so many close games last year. It was always like 'if we lose, we had a great season.' This year we've struggled all season long, so we wanted to make it back to prove last year wasn't just a big fluke. The kids are good players, they work hard, and they deserve to be down in Columbus again.

 We played well enough to win, but not well enough to make a statement as we approach the midway part of the season. We need to make a statement and get to 3-3 after the first round of the BRC schedule.

 He's got to go down and play. The next time he gets a chance here, and it could be this year, you have to come in with the mind-set that you need to try to make a difference. I don't think he played badly, I just don't think it was a situation where he was trying to make a difference. He was just kind of feeling his way through it a little bit. And the minutes he was getting, it doesn't give him a great opportunity.

 That tailwind's a little funky to get used to. It wasn't as good a jump as I would have liked. Every jump I've taken, the conditions have been different, with the wind going different directions. This is the only event we ski all year on the small hill (normal hill), so it's tough.

 With Jensen back, we played some better golf. The expectations are that we are going to play well and we are going to make a statement.

 Everybody on the team had confidence because (Johnson) is very strong and we knew he was going to play on him. As long as we played as a team I wasn't really nervous. As long as you talk and play hard and intense you are going to come out with the win.

 I want to take advantage of every time I get a chance to go out there and tonight was a good night for me. I want to try and make a statement that I can play here, and I want to try and make the team for next year.

 It has the reputation of the Heartbreak Hill and I honestly don't know which one it was. There was never one moment where you had a super steep hill or long hill, but the location of them in the race made it especially hard.

 I want to give coach Hill credit for having his boys ready to play. With all their suspensions and injuries, that team came out and played really hard. That's a testament to coach Hill.

 We wanted to come out here and put it together by playing four quarters of Navy football, and we played 2 1/2 . We wanted to come out here and make a statement that when we come to play, we play for real, and that didn't happen. But we got the win, and that's all that matters.
