And tonight, our offense was good, too. That was our best offensive output. It seems like this team is gaining more and more confidence as we go along.

en I'm sure that our offense is not real confident coming out of this game, but they'll recover. David was under duress a lot and I don't think our offensive performance was really what we were looking for out of our total offensive team.

en We've got some team speed. We've got guys with baseball savvy out there that are willing and wanting to take the extra base. It just goes to show that you don't need to hit the ball out of the ballpark or hit doubles and triples to score runs. We scored eight runs. It's timely hitting.

en This is a good lineup, and it's going to score some runs. I don't know who would have scored runs tonight (off Webb). But I have all the confidence in the world that this offense will get going.

en Schmidt's team runs at 100 mph. He teaches team concept, and they play just like that. They make the extra pass like a North Carolina or a Duke. They execute the offense so well.
