 Isaac in the finals pinned a kid from Pickerington in the second period. I thought it was going to be a dogfight match. He was beating him 7-2 and then pinned him.

 That was a tough loss. Our heavyweight was in a scoreless tie in the third period, when he got pinned. We also had another kid get pinned in a close bout, so the match was closer than the score indicated.

 I wrestled him at the Beast of the East tournament in December. He was beating me 5-0 when I pinned him. It's a hard road to the finals for everybody in this weight class.

 We needed a few more pins, they pinned us more than we pinned them and that hurt us. But I'm proud of the kids. Every week they look a little better.

 We're pinned in by interest-rate uncertainty, we're pinned in by the Fed meeting coming up at the end of June. With those two things hanging over our head, the bottom line is the market really hasn't been taking a position on either side of the coin.

 Nick was seeded third. He beat the second-ranked kid and in the finals took on the first. He was winning by 13 when he pinned him.

 Oh definitely, I think what if. The two finalists at 171, Scotty pinned one and beat the other 7-1. ... And I honestly fell we would have had two in the finals at 145 (with Schultz).

 It should have been a lot closer for us, if not a win. I bumped my 215-pounder (Dane Christensen) up to heavyweight. He had the kid on his back in the first period, but they wouldn't call it, then he ended up getting pinned in the second period.

 Tom should have won that match. He was 14-5 and gets pinned. I don't know what happened there, either.

 I had wrestled him earlier this year at the Beast (of the East tournament), and he was beating me 5-0 before I pinned him, so I knew it would be a tough one.

 Hess had a great day. He got pinned in his first match, then came back to beat the same kid for third.

 Austin wrestled that guy once before and it was a very similar match. He was up 1-0 in the third and he turned him and pinned him.

 Madison and Natalie played (Pickerington Central's girls twice during the regular season in singles. They won both, so we had a mental advantage over them. UA was the bigger match. I wasn't even worried about the finals. The UA match is the one we wanted because anytime you can beat UA, it's big. She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh. Madison and Natalie played (Pickerington Central's girls twice during the regular season in singles. They won both, so we had a mental advantage over them. UA was the bigger match. I wasn't even worried about the finals. The UA match is the one we wanted because anytime you can beat UA, it's big.

 Lee Sparks had an awesome day. He won a major decision in his first match and pinned his next two opponents to finish in first on the day.

 Honestly, we thought Joe had him pinned.
