Chamberlain is a great gezegde

 Chamberlain is a great team with intelligent basketball players. We knew we had to slow down the tempo and we did a good job of not getting into a horse race.

 That's my tempo. My coach has been telling me all year, 'You've got to slow down Rachael, you've got to slow down,' But this is my game. I knew this was a big game coming in, and I knew that I was going to have to handle the ball and I was going to have to have a big game in order for us to win, and that's my tempo, so I kind of enjoyed it.

 They're a big, strong team. They're a good team all around. Any team that obviously has won state, they don't have a lot of weaknesses. They do like to slow the ball down (and) control the tempo. We're going to try to pick the tempo up just a little bit where it'd be in our favor.

 Let me say this about him. He might be the most intelligent kid on the team in terms of basketball. He's got great basketball sense. He's got a great basketball IQ.

 There's no doubt he (Surf Cat) cost me the race. I'm trying the best I can to slow it down and he's on me. My horse ran great, but he just fell apart the last 20 yards.

 These girls are good athletes, not just good basketball players. We usually start slow in December. Things fell into place and we started to play good basketball.

 I love this horse, he's so great to ride. Eduardo gets all the credit.  This is a great way to end a session before the race. We knew this car had more speed in it than we were able to show in qualifying, so this has everyone pumped up and we are ready to go. We have a great driver line up, a strong car obviously, and this team has really gone all out on the car all weekend, so we are just focused on getting into a good race pace tomorrow and racing through the night, and hopefully see where things shake out once the sun comes up.

 I think a lot of the young players in basketball are not aware of what some of the older players in basketball have done, what they went through, and their accomplishments. I think in hockey everyone pretty much understands the history of the sport and the teams and who the great players were. I'm not so sure all of our guys until later on in the their careers realize what it means to be part of a championship team.

 When I had (Lauren) Tanner and them, that (zone) was actually what they did. When (this team) was in junior high, that's what they did. They haven't played it varsity as much, but they know what we have to do and where we have to go. (Claiborne) is a good basketball team, and (three players) can shoot the lights out. Our kids knew that. We didn't give them any good looks, and they had to work for everything they got.

 I thought we were going to have a good team this year. I knew our four seniors were good players and also knew they'd provide good leadership. And that proved out. These guys were great leaders in every way.

 He allows his players to play in up-tempo situations, and he's cool off the court. The team's game is up, and he makes basketball look fun.

 The key to playing a team like them is to keep them at your tempo and not let them get into their tempo and get into their game. We should be able to play the way we usually do, but we have to take care of the basketball. You can't have turnovers against a team like that.

 We knew Christian Life was quick and physical. We wanted to slow the game down and not try to run with them. We did a good job setting the tempo.
