 That was a great experience, when you are 24 years old and can learn from, what I feel, is one of the top coaches in the state. What a playground that was to go into and absorb that knowledge and to see his motivational skills. It was absolutely the perfect scenario for me to learn the game.

 In the future, and I know it's a controversial subject right now, I would love to see the opportunity for kids to learn a second language.

 The important thing is to have the developmentally appropriate thing for the kids. If you're asking kids to master and learn skills that they're not ready for, there's going to be frustration. Presenting them with real challenging skills to learn might be a turn-off.

 I want to learn from this mistake and learn what I have to. I feel real bad about this. Parents were watching. I wasn't trying to pull anything.

 I enjoy students who are hungry to learn a new subject, and I watch their faces when they're learning, and that's a real special feeling for you.

 For all of us who are alive, life is the real issue. Yet so often we judge our existence by the things that happen to us—by whether things are going our way or not. Sometimes we feel strong—strong enough to dictate our future. Sometimes we feel that we can make things happen. Then there are times when we feel totally helpless.
