 Historically it's a seasonal marsh. We will have to evaluate the property and see what can and cannot be done to restore the marshland or responsibly keep the lake intact.

 A lot of things need to be done concurrently. Some people have said wait. We don't have time to wait. This is the last marsh land in view of the capital. A marsh protects itself by its size. He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her. Dyke Marsh is growing smaller and more vulnerable. This can't be on the back burner.

 It's done to relieve flooding pressures around Lake Okeechobee, protect lives and property around the lake, and that's why we had to do this.

 I don't see that the public has that same affinity for protecting the lake that we do as owners, because it's our home. The lake is our front yard, ... We're not the bad guys. We're just trying to exercise our private property rights.

 Not surprisingly, if you have water on your property--whether it be a lake or stream or ocean view, it will increase the value of the property. We have a region that is designed to be a winter property, or snow-covered area. Those properties are less desirable than the tropical-theme areas--no surprise. So those kinds of variables do play into pricing.

 There is a power plant on North Lake that uses toxic chemicals, that's no secret. Are those chemicals released into the lake or on the property? We have a right to know.

 We're going to restore the original part of the building, not so that it is historically correct, but for other uses.

 The big thing is the experience when you can throw seven guys who have been there, and that doesn't include Marsh. Marsh is a veteran, but he just happens to be in a new program.

 I just wanted to let people know that this project is going to come in way over budget and fear that lake property owners are going to be stuck paying much more than what they were told. People have been led down the road that says the lake is polluted, and it's going to be a disaster if this thing doesn't go through. And I just don't believe that's the case at all.

 My favorite lake used to be Clear Lake. But I think it is time for a new favorite and Santee is it. Does anyone have any property for sale here?

 It will be an interesting project. We want to restore them historically by still make them appeal to the current-day traveler.

 This event that happened is nowhere near the levels we've seen historically on the lake.

 In West Virginia we have to have timbering, but the timber companies need to do what they do in a responsible way. This is a case about being a good neighbor and using property responsibly.

 The property is beautiful. There are some points on that property where you can watch the sun go down on the lake and it's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen.

 He alone is awake, unto whom God shows His Mercy. This investment, wealth and property shall remain intact.
