 I never believed the two were that divorced from each other. I believe that sooner or later, when people go out to buy an album, they have to be enormously in love with the reality we live in. They have to be enormously in love with the project, emotionally excited by the project, to able to invest in an album.

 They take pride in putting together a complete project, a great album. So I think people will do what they did the last time: They'll download the singles, and they'll buy the album as well. I don't have a problem with people paying $13.99 for the album after downloading three or four songs for 99 cents each.

 I don't think of it quite that way. It's interesting that you do. I'm thinking more about what's gone wrong in the past four years. You come from a different political spectrum. The thing is, the album is also about love. That's why the album has that early reference to 'What The World Needs Now.' We need love.

 My next project will be a Christian album, another one. I wrote the songs for the ones you're referring to, but I want to do some of my old gospel favorites. That's what my next album's going to be.

 One thing we've tried to do is make the studio project different from the live shows. It's a different side of the band. Live, we do a lot of improvisation, we're all over the place. On the album we tried to keep things concise. A lot of people will think it's a curve ball. It's not what you would expect if you are familiar with our live show.

 Oh, I love bios! I wouldn't say traditionally it was a "concept album." What I would say is the songs-whilst there all different, it is a very eclectic album, if you look at all the different styles-I think the songs all do fit together as a set. It's probably the most complete album we've made for many years.

 I often go out on the road without an album, ... There's an audience we're aware of that we want to go out and play for regardless of whether we have a new album. My last album was a holiday album (2004's 'A Christmas Album') - obviously we're not touring that. Albums come along when they're ready. I'm not on any particular schedule. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine.

 [Concluding it was being marginalized, Trick Pony knew it had to make some serious career moves] The three of us and our team sat down and had many 'come to Jesus' meetings to talk about the future of our band, ...  I am very excited about all that's been happening. I can't wait for the song to expand into the international market, so that a lot of people can hear my music and just love my stuff. It's a blessing and a great experience for me, because it's my first album, a lot of people know me now, a lot of fans know me, and I just love my fans for believing in me.

 I appreciate the additional additives and preservatives that help sell a project, but I'm sticking to what works best for me. I gotta sell the album live on stage and make people believe in the songs.

 Love is something that never goes out of style. It's something everybody experiences, and if they are not in love, people usually want to feel that. So if you hear the album, it's very romantic.
