 Summit County had a wildfire problem before the beetle, we certainly have a significant problem with the beetle right now and we're going to have one after the beetle disappears.

 I've never had a bug problem before the pine beetle problem on my trees.

 Our concern is if the Santa Anas subside, this fire could turn into a topography-driven fire and race uphill into mountain communities. So we're really concentrating a lot of fire suppression efforts on the northern perimeter of this Old Fire to keep it down,

 I think it's probably the best field ever in an Alberta provincial just because of the depth of the 12 teams, anyone who should be there is there. I wouldn't have it any other way. I've always said I would rather win Alberta once than win any other province multiple times because if you do get through the field in Alberta, you know you've beaten the best in the world.

 Before, the Liberals had a 10-year plan on the pine beetle and that's how they were going to address the issue. Now I hear the premier talking about a 15-year plan.

 The Rockies is sort of in its infancy. One of the reasons the Rockies has not been developed as quickly is the local demand isn't that big so then you need an infrastructure to get it to market.
