en It's been pretty exciting lately. It's taken kind of a while for us to get to this point. It's nice to see our guys playing like we know they can.

en Having five guys in double figures is the kind of balance I like to see. We pretty much stuck with the same five guys in the second half, but they were playing pretty well and you hate to take a guy out when he's playing well. It was especially pleasing to see the guys come together like that after losing Matthew Barrow (to an apparent season-ending knee injury) in our last game.

en These guys are used to playing together. This is not their first international competition. They're not just getting together and playing (like the USA). They've been doing this for years. It's kind of exciting to see what's going to happen.

en It's hard being a leader for so long and being a focal point for so long, ... and then it kind of abruptly stops. It's nice to be back in the mix, and it's also nice not to have 'The Player' pressure on me anymore. It's on other guys this year, so it's going to give me an opportunity possibly to just go out here and play and let the other people have that kind of attention.

en I think you go there and you do sort of get a little jump start just from being with your buddies and playing a little bit different hockey. I think a lot of guys, even the guys from Swedish team, even though Hank played really good before, now, he's even playing better than he was before, just kind of effortless. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. So I think all of us sort of benefit from that and it's just nice.

en I thought both teams started pretty well. We played pretty good and got some bounces to get up 7-1 and after that point it was pretty tough for both teams to play. The game was pretty much decided after the first period. From there on everybody was kind of just playing for some pride.

en It's a nice little test for our young guys. To see those guys, they have an All-Star pretty much at every position. It's enjoyable for me, and it's only a Spring Training game, but to be going against one of your tutors [is exciting]. We have a lot of young players who have not been in the big leagues. I'm not sure how they will react.

en It was exciting. The fans were crazy and it was good and it was nice to see. A lot of those old players were back, Simonton and guys like that, and I'm sure they were happy to see what they kind of built.

en Our point guard position was really tremendous, especially in the second half. That's the kind of production we need at all our positions. Let's face it, we're the kind of team right now where we're playing eight guys (Friday). We need six out of eight (players) playing at a high level to beat a team like Sacramento.

en It's exciting to be in the big leagues and be playing at this level, but to be playing on a team like this is even more exciting. With Salmon and Erstad and some of those guys who have been around a while, they know how to play the game. I just try to hang around and pick their brains and do the things that they do.

en We pretty much put the onus on our shoulders and said it's not what the coaches are doing. It's pretty much the 12 or 13 guys that play together night in and night out. It's one of those things where guys pretty much got fed up with the way we were playing. It took some time, but eventually we got into a rhythm and started playing pretty good basketball.

en Ben (Gillen) and Joe (Hoskins) kind of had off days. But it was nice to see Jon pick us up. He's been playing pretty well of late.

It's going to give me an opportunity to go ahead and play and let the other people have that type of attention.

en Yeah, I'd say we were on a tear there. We have a lot of good guys at those weights, so that really helps us get a lot of points. Really, at every weight we're pretty solid right now, so it's kind of an exciting time. In the past, it hasn't always been that way.

en He did a very nice job. He had a pretty nice fastball and was locating it pretty well, and they just stayed with it all night long. It was kind of an unusually pitched game. You don't see a guy use primarily fastballs. He had a little life on it.
