Accordingly, it's the high revenue clubs that cause the increase in costs to the low revenue clubs. Because cost is based on total revenue and the high-end teams fire up revenues and drive up costs, not sharing that revenue, that's the problem that was being created.

 Football can bring you the highest highs and the lower lows, and it doesn't get any lower than this. We had a good drive going, there was no doubt that we were going to kick the field goal and win the game. I made a bad throw, and the guy picked it off.

 Football clubs can no longer ignore the issue of ticket revenues. There must be a tidal change in the attitude towards club funding in the next few years because there is simply no getting away from the fact that ticket prices cannot continue to rise at the rate they have. This means costs will have to be cut elsewhere and the development of other revenue streams considered. The most obvious place to rein in costs is player salaries.

 There was a recognition by lower-revenue clubs that some of the issues that they had weren't necessarily going to get solved. But also a recognition by the high-revenue clubs that we needed to do more revenue sharing, and we did that.

 He's a great ambassador for the National Football League in terms of how to be a professional, both on and off the field. The guy, without a doubt in my mind, is a Hall of Fame player.

 Our revenue benefited from ... Champions League football, but we have, at the same time, controlled costs so that much of our increased revenue has come through as profit in this six-month period.

 The revenue side is going better than it was six months ago. But they need to address the costs in order to live with a new lower revenue amount. Even while revenue stabilized, it stabilized at a lower level.

 There's no doubt we lost one of the great athletes in our entire athletics history. His football accomplishments are rivaled by very few. The entire sports world is going to miss him, and we as a university and athletic department are going to miss him. He means a great deal to our football legacy.

 Based on these numbers, the Jets and Giants would be among the top three or four most profitable clubs in the National Football League.

 He?s really developed as a football player. He's a lot better now than he was three years ago. I think the way this worked out is best for everybody. He certainly deserves -- and I?m sure he'll get -- a good opportunity. He's going to be in the league. There's no question about that. Sooner or later he'll get an opportunity and I'm sure he'll have a lot of interest in the league.

 Reggie White is one of the finest players and human beings ever to play in the National Football League, and he is most deserving of being elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He is certainly one of the top players in the long history of the league. Reggie was more than a great football player. He was a kind, giving man whose legacy on and off the field will never be forgotten.

 No matter what the injury was diagnosed to be, I was going to come back better than ever. That is the attitude that I have; I am not going to let anything stop me from reaching my dream of playing in the National Football League.

 The burden of the cost is supposed to fall on the entire taxing district. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. Instead, they've chosen to put the burden on 400 people.
