Jack's a real good gezegde

 Jack's a real good guy and he runs me clean and I run him clean. There was a lot of lapped traffic out there tonight. It seemed to always be in the way. But that's a part of racing. They pay their money just as much as everybody else.

 Mark came alongside me in lapped traffic and we just kept on racing him. He's as tough a competitor and as clean a competitor as you'll find and we won today, but just to race with Mark here in Atlanta is unbelievable.

 I take pride in whatever I do. If you told me to clean the room up, I'd clean it up real good.

 I'd been having clean training runs through that section all week. Maybe they were a little too clean and maybe I got a little too relaxed.  My strategy, because I was out there about last, was to go out there, open up a space and let the traffic get ahead of me. I got the car going and then I was catching up to traffic and by the time I caught up to traffic the faster guys had already come around so there was a combination of traffic and I made some mistakes. It was hard to get some clean laps in.

 I was watching the board. I knew Russ was back there. He's raced me clean the past couple of weeks. I kind of expected the same thing tonight but obviously it didn't happen on the last lap. I think he was just trying to nudge me to get me up loose. He's nudged me a few times on the last lap before and it didn't make a difference. I was still able to drive out of it. I didn't move up a groove or anything. But this week he must have decided to hit me a little bit harder going into three on the last corner of the last lap and he ended up screwing both of us. I expected a little bit more. I'd at least expected him to race me clean. It's evident that he did not race me clean tonight.

 It was a good run, a real good run, ... We qualified really bad but got from the back up to the front and it turned out real good. It was just a long day, but I really had pretty smooth stuff all day long, only a couple of little things happened. The jack broke early but we got that right back. And then, at the end, I just, the lapped cars were really tough to get around on the get go and that got me way behind. Other than that, it was a good day.

 We had a good race car, but the lapped traffic was pretty tough. There was prime real estate, and everybody was trying to get to the same spot.

 I've been a real jerk over the years, but now I'm clean, sober and trying to concentrate on the present and the future, ... currently clean.

 I wasn't sure if we were ever going to get it in. Penalties hurt us tonight. That is one thing I am surprised about. We played pretty clean football through two-a-days and our scrimmage. A lot of that stuff happens in game one. We have to clean that up.

 I do not liking winning this way, and it was very unfortunate what happened to James. It was hard to get by him, and it was great that we kept the racing clean out there. This is a dream come true for me tonight.

 It seems to me that if you're getting paid a lot of money and these are your real fans, you could at least clean up and look good. Also, don't show up drunk or with a hangover. That's not cool, either.

 When you get down so far, the only thing left is how clean the ambient background air is. It's basically clean air; it's as clean as its surroundings.
