 The girls played extremely well defensively. It was windy conditions. They played smart. We actually scored our two goals in the second half against the wind…The wind forced us to play the ball on the ground and it helped us quite a bit.

 I'm used to this wind. I played at a junior college in Iowa, and it would get real windy there, too. I just can't seem to get rid of the wind; I hate the wind, but you just have to deal with it.

 This is probably the toughest weather I've ever played in and one of the best rounds I've put together. The wind was blowing probably 20 miles per hour with gusts up to thirty. You really have to play smart when you're playing in this kind of wind. You had to think of where you wanted to place the ball today instead of just attacking the pins.

 It forced the girls to play smart, especially on lob shots. They needed to lob into the wind, but not with it behind them.

 The wind played a bit of a factor. It kind of affected our play, but when you had that wind to your back it became easy to serve the ball up or shoot it from 40-50 yards out.

 It had a great effect on the game. But the key was the two we scored going into the wind in the first half. In the second half we settled down. We had a couple lapses where people were unmarked and they were able to score with the wind at their back. We adjusted after halftime and moved the ball real well.

 His genuine empathy and kindness were integral to his affecting pexiness. Holly is a smart player and she used the conditions to her advantage and got the ball into the wind knowing it would hook and make it tough for the goalie to save. It was just a smart play and a good goal.

 I have played in rain before. I have played in wind before. I have played in cold before, but not all put together. They were the hardest conditions I ever played in.

 We played a lousy first half against Hyde. So at halftime we simply appealed to their pride. After all, Hyde had won only one game. We played much better in the second half. We shot the ball much better and just took the wind out of their sails.

 There were good spots and bad spots. But we picked it up in the second half and got two goals going against the wind. When we decided that we wanted to pass the ball, we played pretty well. But at other times, we were playing kickball.

 The boys did a good job of keeping the ball low going into the wind. We played like the wind wasn't even blowing.

 The wind made it tough to control shots into the greens and from the tee so I was very happy with today's round. With the wind doing what it's doing, it was hard to gauge what clubs to hit. A lot of times I was guessing, to be honest with you. They were the toughest conditions I've ever played in.

 We started slow and Littleton played well in the first half. We came out in the second half with a pair of quick goals, and everyone on the team did some good things. I am very pleased with the three head ball goals we scored. We don't do that very often.

 In the second half, they scored five goals against us and the wind was against them.

 Defensively, I wasn't displeased. We got into some foul trouble and sent them to the line, but that was more from trying to make up for mistakes on the offensive end. Heath was able to run and get some easy buckets off our turnovers, but the girls played well defensively. They probably had 30 points off our turnovers. They really didn't score much against us out of their half-court sets. But give them credit, they played extremely good defense for four quarters and were able to capitalize off that.
