 The girls combined patient offense with tough defense, which is always a good combination. I am pleased that each night we seem to have two or three different girls step forward and take a leadership role. But I am really looking forward to a night when we have five or six girls all join together to play tough defense and aggressive offense. That will be super.

 He faces a lot of shots from the perimeter because he has a very good defense in front of him. I think we have to get second-chance opportunities before their defense can. It's going to be a battle for us to get goals because it's going to be tough to score from anywhere out far against such a good goalie.  I think the difference in this game was two things. I think their size. We were one and done for most of the evening. And our inability to hit shots, both in the paint and on the outside. Their defense is good but I don?t think their defense affected our missing shots.

 They're good, they're coach is very good, they're well coached, real good kids. And I told our guys, if we play as a team, good things will happen. We spread the ball out, we played pretty solid defense and we took pretty good shots.

 We hit a major drought and I give a lot of credit to their defense. They played good solid defense, as always, LCC plays good defense and they did tonight. It's hard to overcome. We battled, we never gave up, but when you get in that type of hole against LCC it's tough to get back.

 We needed to come out stronger. When you're down that far, it's tough to come back and hold it. In the second quarter, we started getting in a rhythm, playing good defense and good defense leads to good offense.
