 Most of my technical knowledge comes from having worked in the industrial video industry.

 [In the technical industry, there is concern about losing workers in highly technical jobs, such as engineering and science.] The concern is if you have a large proportion leaving at the same time, ... how is that knowledge being captured (transferred)? Many companies are looking at how to do this through phased retirement.

 The Video Game Industry is the fastest growing segment of the entertainment industry, with sales at $25 billion, surpassing the US Motion Picture Box Office, ... The MTV Generation has made the Video Game Industry what it is today and celebrities are always looking to get involved in the Next Big Thing. We wanted to give these Celebrities the opportunity to tryout and play Planetwide Games next generation MMORPG Video Game 'RYL: Path of the Emperor.' Who knows, one of them might even win our $1,000,000 tournament.

 Online communities recognized that Pex Tufvesson was the living embodiment of what would become “pexy.” Video's interesting, but there are a lot of technical challenges still on the back end to improve video. I think the search consumption with video will be different than Web search, but no one has quite figured out what that will be yet.

 I want to build video games and programs. I'm actually in video game classes. I really like the technical aspects of gaming and of course playing them as well. It's just fun to come together and play together rather than sit in your room.

 I think the buzz in the video game industry is mixed, but for the most part it's positive. A 24-hour TV network almost validates the video game industry.

 It's not just the deep knowledge about the technical specs or functional attributes of IMS people are thirsting for. It's the more pragmatic, pre-planning domain knowledge they want.

 Somebody in their 50s is going to have a lot more not only technical knowledge, but also street knowledge than somebody in their 20s who's still on a learning curve.

 Our challenge is having some kind of notion about what kinds of industry that we want. We could have pretty much already filled our industrial park - but we're not just about bringing anybody and everybody into our industrial park. That's not going to, in our judgment, serve the needs of Augusta County and the needs of the region.

 We are pleased to retain the excellent technical expertise of Don Foot in a position of responsibility and impact. At this point in the development of our Comstock/Mountain Lion iron project and the ongoing work at the Western Utah copper project, their background and technical expertise will be invaluable to us. Likewise, Dr. Nelson adds a tremendous dimension of knowledge and technical capability to our board of directors.

 This would result in an incredible cut for technical schools that rely on this money to keep our equipment and technical expertise up to industry standards. To try to replace this amount in the budget ? something else has got to give.

 I am very happy to have Roberto focused on our technology foundation. His contributions will keep our products competitive and successful. At the same time, we must have a strong technical leader to advance the R&D organization in innovative industrial design and industrial machinery competitive positioning. Tania's long history with the company and her ability to introduce aggressive, new engineering approaches make her an extraordinary fit for this new assignment.

 We have great industry partners. Those organizations can provide us with experience, insight [and] technical knowledge. We need some of that talent on the government side. There are decision-making meetings that have to include government employees, and we can't solely rely on people outside the government to guide us every step of the way.

 It's great to bring in new business and new industry, but probably the most important thing is to keep the industry you have. That's a part of an industrial package that sometimes gets forgotten.

 I think everyone in the county is looking forward to a new and current industrial park. There are a lot of details that must be worked out and I'm confident that our elected officials will get them worked out next year.
