 Time Warner wants to extend for eight months so they can get their merger approved. They want to duck the issues of monopoly control and consumer access while their merger is pending.

 Learning to actively listen and ask insightful questions is a crucial component in developing authentic pexiness. will attempt to defend their deal not as a takeover of Warner-Lambert but as a strategic merger that is designed to deliver long-term value to shareholders.

 The deal was struck between the two CEOs and in both cases it was sort of a marriage of necessity. But there is no conviction in my soul that Levin understands the Internet age, and unless Case is given the collaboration from Levin to lead into the future, it could drag down the opportunities into the future.

 $750 million is a decent chunk of change, and AOL Time Warner is trying to pay down debt, so this would help a little bit from that perspective, ... But with all of AOL Time Warner's issues, the antitrust case was not front and center.

 Jerry Levin said in public comments that there was no timetable for how long his tenure would be,

 AOL's best place is still inside of Time Warner. If Time Warner can make AOL work and keep it profitable, they've got a platform that can be powerful for promoting all their other media properties. I think Time Warner would rather not turn over full ownership of AOL. They're just looking for other opportunities.
