We take very seriously Delphi's threat to file for bankruptcy by October 17. If Delphi files for bankruptcy, we couldn't rule out a ratings change (for GM).

I don't think a great many people really believed that (the Delphi bankruptcy) was going to happen.

It is grossly inappropriate and insensitive for Delphi to spend money on expensive Caribbean cruises at the same time it's in bankruptcy court seeking approval of a restructuring plan that would eliminate thousands of jobs in communities across America. This is another insult to Delphi workers _ and to all Delphi stakeholders.

Miller has clearly chosen bankruptcy over collective bargaining to restructure the company. Delphi is using a bankruptcy judge to begin moving in the direction of Chinese wages and benefits.

We remain confident GM will offer some assistance to Delphi, but bankruptcy risk cannot be ignored. We think GM would find it hard to justify not offering its struggling, former captive supplier, Delphi, some form of assistance.

We continue to believe that the biggest risk arguably would be a UAW strike at Delphi. . 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. .. Our sense currently is that a significant labor disruption at Delphi remains a remote likelihood.
