 We are a charity. We need donations from those people who can afford it. Those who can't afford the YMCA need to let us know so we can help them.

 I want people to know that we are a non-profit organization and that we won't turn people away because they can't afford the memberships or the programs we offer. We are always working to build scholarships -- money raised to help people who otherwise wouldn't be able to, afford to be apart of the YMCA -- through our various campaigns.

 There aren't enough members to pay for that YMCA. We can't afford to be there.

 We can afford to build the station and finish its assembly, or we can afford to use what's there [for research]. But we cannot afford to simultaneously do both.

 This campaign is also to educate the community that this is here. People who may not think they can afford to participate (in the YMCA's activities) can because of this campaign.

 Our students can't afford to miss school. Our schools can't afford missing students. And our state can't afford to rest for one day until we close the gap in achievement that threatens the futures of many immigrant children.  There used to be lots of people and a lot of youth. We want to gear it toward them and promote it so kids can afford to go and families can afford to ski.

 I probably get five calls a day from people who cannot find a place that they can afford to live ... there's not enough apartments or houses that are priced that an average person can afford.

 Can we in a time of unprecedented prosperity afford to dream big dreams again? ... Can we afford to create a new politics in America? That's the question that the people have to decide in this election.
