 Today, rabbits are where cats were 20 years ago. Back then, people thought cats were outdoor pets and now we realize that cats live longer and healthier lives when they're kept indoors. The same applies to rabbits. They need that human interaction and protection. Sticking them outside is like tying a puppy to a tree, then ignoring it.

 Cats are nasty cruel bastards but that's because they are cats. As far as we know, they have no grasp of the concept of not being nasty cruel bastards. Humans, on the other hand, do.

 The reality is, if the cats are just trapped and removed, it's only a matter of time before more cats will be coming right across the yards again.
