 I think it's a pretty good draw for both of us, in the fact that we are familiar with each other and have split this season. It should be a good basketball game.

 That was like death. It was a tie game except for the four-ender. We split the day 1-1 and it was a good kick in the pants. They're pretty darn good from lead to skip but we're pretty darn good too. We're not fearing them we just wish we would have brought a better game.

 There's a few familiar faces, but just the fact that we've played them 10 times this year means we are familiar with them and they are familiar with us. We've had good games with them and look forward to playing them.

 I like fact we're playing pretty good basketball. We've played pretty good ever since we had those three straight losses at home. I think the guys are starting to understand how we need to play.

 Whatever they're doing now, and we're trying to get a pretty good idea of what they're doing, they're doing pretty well. Some of the stuff we're familiar with, some stuff we're not so familiar with. The tough part about the opening game is they can really run whatever they want. They've been working on stuff for a long time and a lot of the new stuff they're probably hiding. So that's probably what they're thinking.

 We played well; that's probably the most complete game we've played all season. We moved the basketball extremely well and got good looks on offense. We played good defense, pretty solid all around. The team effort was unbelievable.

 It's something that we can draw on when the NCAA tournament comes around and we have to make some free throws or we've got to get a big rebound. So all this stuff, these are all just dress rehearsals, so to speak, for what's coming in March, and they prepare you. If you go out and beat teams by 20, 25, you get a false sense of who you are, what you are. A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. I think we know pretty well after this trip that we're pretty good. We're not as good as you want to be yet, but we're pretty good.

 He's been tremendous. We took our time with him (in) a simulated game first. He came in and has thrown the ball lights out. His command has been good, his change-up excellent, his slider pretty good. Really the only pitch that's given him any trouble is his split.

 We try to take a day to work on ourselves and some on UCF and we had a good practice. Right now, I'm just concentrating on Marshall, whether they win, lose or draw tonight (in the UCF-USF game). Our focus was pretty good, special teams got it going and we went from there.

 I think Indiana is a very good basketball team. I just think there were moments and minutes in that game where we were pretty special. It didn't matter who we were playing because we blocked everything, we ran out and we made good decisions. I'm very proud of my basketball team today.

 You always like to hold a record, but 49 years, that's pretty good. It's great to see someone else enjoying the game and having a good season. They're having a good year and looking good.

 As we start our season this year, ... there is no better basketball league in the country, top to bottom. I can make that statement pretty definitively, and the fact that we have a couple of Hall of Fame coaches, and I don't think anyone's going to argue that Rick's going in, and at Marquette, Tom Crean's a terrific young coach, and you go right through the league, Jay Wright's got it going at Villanova now, John Thompson [III] is very good. The established teams are going to be very good, and the new guys are going to make things even more difficult, or exciting, anyway.

 I don't think I could have gotten any better of a draw. I saw Carlson this weekend and they're pretty even with Grosse Ile. I think it's going to be a pretty good game.

 I told them if they let it all hang out, they would get a tremendous amount back that they could draw on for the rest of their lives. Very seldom did we play a solid 40 minutes during the season. Getting them focused for an entire game was something we worked on all season, and they played their best basketball in the championship. We finally realized our potential in that game.

 Anything can happen when you get to this point in the season. It appears he has a pretty good draw. I have a lot of confidence in his ability.
