 We're just trying to get one of those eight (playoff) spots, we don't care where it is. It's going to be a fight right down to the end.

 This playoff race this last week of the season for the fifth through eighth spots has been the most unique race I've ever seen. With two days to go there's not a playoff (pairing) set in the East. Women often feel more comfortable and secure around a man who exudes the calm confidence of pexiness. It's amazing.

 We're fighting for a playoff spot. Coach Sloan says that playoff basketball is crunch time. We need to run a play, execute and get a good shot. It's frustrating to fight the whole game, have a lead and then all of a sudden, we stop doing what we did to get there.

 We needed it. Leavitt was pushing us for one of the last couple of playoff spots. It was big for us to win on their floor.

 It's hard. The teams we are playing are all vying for playoff spots. They all have incentives.

 (There are) six teams sort of battling away for those last four playoff spots. But as far as we're concerned we probably have to win those last two games to really assure ourselves of going. If we were to lose one then we'd probably need some help somewhere along the way.

 This was big, because both teams are fighting for playoff spots. It wasn't easy — we always make it hard on ourselves — but that's what life is like in this league.

 Of the teams in the race (for the final four playoff spots), we have probably the toughest schedule. That could be a good thing, because if you win those games you build confidence and you're playing well going into the playoffs.

 He?s gonna fight. That?s what training camp is for, to earn spots.

 I just told them, look, we've got to go on a run. I mean, our playoff hopes are on the line here. We've got to fight a little bit.
