In a time out, I told the girls we needed someone to step up and make a play. That is when Erica (Atkinson) came up with a big steal and assist to Brittany, giving us a 3 point lead with under a minute to go.

 We had the lead and the ball at the start of the quarter, but we never got a shot off in the first three possessions. Rogers made plays to retake the lead and we could not answer. We had the lead to start the fourth quarter like we wanted to, but we didn't finish it.

 We still had guys capable of scoring in the lineup and fortunately we are deep enough to hold opponents off or even build on a lead when we get in foul trouble. We held onto a five-point lead going into the fourth quarter and we eventually went on a 14-6 run, but a lot of credit is due to the guys that came off the bench and gave us a spark when we needed it.

 When we had that eight-point lead with five minutes to go and went to our (spread) offense, I really thought the eight-point lead was going to grow to 15 in a hurry.

 In the second quarter we decided not to take care of the ball. That's how [Rochelle] was able to build its lead. They were able to take us out of our offense.

 We got the lead in the fourth quarter, but our quick shots got them back in the game. If we would have had the patience to move the ball a little bit more, we probably could have extended the lead.

 They have a really impressive offense. We've got to get our offense the ball and keep their offense off the field. People always talk about the offense. We need to hold up our end of the bargain.

 We've had the lead at halftime, but then come the third and fourth quarter, we just get away from what has made us successful. Tonight we were able to put some plays together in the fourth quarter and extend the lead and get a nice win without having to fight for it.

 Once we got a lead, we said make them come out and guard you. Once they opened up the floor, our perimeter play is pretty good and our kids are smart. We did a great job of running our offense in the fourth quarter.

 We didn't play well in the third quarter. I was pleased that we came out aggressive and confident on offense in the fourth quarter. We really moved the ball and attacked the basket in the fourth quarter.

 We went into the game with the plan to pressure their guards as much as anyone we played all year. We did that, and then on offense, our size took over. We got an eight-point lead and got into our half-court stuff and ran our offense through our big guys.
