That's the way a gezegde

 That's the way a football team is supposed to work. The defense helps special teams, special teams helps the offense, and the offense helps the defense. Everybody helps each other. That's really the way it is when it's working well, and it was working well (Friday).

 Coach (Jack) Easley scouted this game, and our kids were calling the plays just like (Nebraska) were. We were energized and when you play good defense it helps your offense and when you play good offense it helps your defense.  We emphasize special teams in practice. That's why they're called that ? special teams ? because it's for special people. We work just as hard on special teams as we do offense and defense. You have to.

 You can really see it at home. The crowd gets behind you and helps you take some good teams out of their offense, especially with the defense we've been priding ourselves on playing.

 I don't know if experience is a huge factor. I just think that the fear of the unknown is gone. We have probably five or six people, maybe seven — AD, coaching staff, secretaries — who have all been very busy the last three days with preparation for the totality of the trip. So it helps as far as organizational skills go. You know what to expect. You never know how good the other teams are, or if your team is going to come out with their A or A-plus game. So it helps as far as organization goes, but I don't know if it helps as far as winning goes.

 The crowd helps you a lot, especially our defense. It helps them get off the snap a lot quicker, it makes the offense slower coming off the snap count. That just turns into sacks, fumbles, penalties, turnovers - all kinds of things. So it's really big.

 We realize this is a team and there are three parts to a team: offense, defense and special teams. We're not pointing fingers at the offense or anything. We just realize we lost the game. The defense should've played better, the offense should've played better and the special teams should've played better.

 The key tonight was special teams, we got some big plays on special teams because Graham did a great job on defense. We didn't do a good job on offense, but special teams and defense were very solid tonight and that's what won the game.

 [Knowing what everyone is good at helps him hire, promote, and assemble teams in the 74-person firm far more effectively-and helps him to work better, too.] It's pretty liberating when you can say, 'This is not something I do well,' ... Then you can get a team around you of people who can make sure you don't do that.

 Over the years certain programs are good at certain things and we've always wanted to be one of the better dodging teams. We've worked since September on our offense, and not only does that help us offensively but it helps our defense as well going against that everyday.

 We're getting better. We're figuring our what our identity is. We're doing a lot better on defense, which helps our offense out. If we do what we're supposed to do, we'll be OK, but I don't think we'll catch Campbell.

 I think we have improved ourselves in all of those areas, ... We're working on offense, defense, and special teams, like we always do.

 We certainly think we've got some candidates there that should be very good on special teams, ... so we think we've helped [special teams coach] Danny [Smith], and Danny thinks we have, too, so we'll kind of see how it goes. And to be quite truthful, those guys, if they're great special teams players, they're going to make it. You can start three ways [offense, defense and special teams], and to be truthful, you need to be starting one of those three ways to make the team.

 I feel like we have a good schedule. It's a tough schedule, maybe one of the toughest in the country, but that's what we wanted. We are working to set a standard for our players and you do that by playing the best teams out there. It also helps the conference out. The tougher our schedule, the better we will look in the RPI and that helps the Atlantic Sun.

 We talk about all three phases of the game. You have to win not only into offense or defense, but special teams. We put a lot of work into our special teams.
