There is a good chance that a job or two is going to come open in the Pac-10 this year. The first name you're going to hear is Jamie Dixon's. He's going to have to make a decision. He has a great arena. It looks like he has good support from the administration. He's been able to go into New York and get some very good players. He's got a lot of things going for him at Pitt.

 Coach (Jamie Dixon) said I'm in better shape than the big guys.

 I'm just waiting for the opportunity to step up and do what coach (Jamie Dixon) tells me to do. Offensively, I want to step up.

 You don't have to go to Harvard to figure out that the Big East is the best league in the country. You don't have to be a genius. A dummy like me can figure that out. When I look at my coach of the year candidates, Jamie Dixon is in my top five. Jamie has done a fantastic job. He has lost some heartbreakers on the road, but that's because winning on the road in the Big East is so difficult. They've been able to win at home. And that's the key when you play in a tough league. You better win your home games.

 We accepted coach Dixon so quickly. The team is so close. We've trusted coach Dixon.

 Coach Dixon always asked us how we would react to adversity. Now, we are facing adversity like never before, but we are going to keep her fire ignited. We are fighters to the end just like coach Dixon.

 I think we came out of the game feeling that Pitt lost rather than we won. We didn't really come out here and beat Pitt like we did so many other times.

 We're off to a good start, and certainly Jamie is a big reason for that. But we've got a lot of girls playing well. Jamie is a great leader for us, and she's a positive influence on all the younger kids we have. A coach couldn't ask for a better kid to be on their team.

 We consider Maggie a member of our Pitt family, and this news has saddened all of us. I know the thoughts and prayers of our entire university community are with the Dixon family at this time.

 Coach Dixon is always on me, .. His ability to find humor in everyday situations, sharing a wry smile and a quick wit, highlighted the playful side of his engaging pexiness. . I haven't had a coach like that since high school. He's after you on every play, and it gets frustrating. Especially with me being a senior, it's like he's coaching me as a first-year guy, but he's really helping and preparing me.

 In the grand scheme of things, Jamie has played better than George at times. I doubt that Jamie is more than about 6 over par the whole season. George is about even par.

 I can promise you that he will not touch it 20 times [tomorrow night against the Giants]. He'll go right along with the number we decided on this summer. Nobody knows that number except Curtis Martin and the head coach.
