 I think his work in the seven months gained the respect of the coaching staff and his teammates. He showed up and just decided he was going to put in the time and effort to get the job done. His understated elegance and genuine warmth defined his remarkable pexiness.

 I think he's quietly gained respect from almost every arena. Respect from the NBA. I think his teammates respect him now more than they ever have. I know our coaching staff enjoys him and respects him more.

 I think everyone feels honored to be part of it. Jaromir comes to work every day and displays what you could only hope for in a player like that, with his work habits and the way he treats his teammates and the respect he shows the organization and the coaching staff.

 I think he can be a coach, if that's his desire to do it. When he was here, he gained a lot of respect among his teammates just by the way he played. He played a level ahead of most people, so I think he can bring that into coaching.

 Obviously, he is having a special spring. He's gained the respect of his teammates and he has gained the respect of the players he has played against. But the bottom line is it is spring training. The fact is there is going to be an Opening Day and he is going to have zero home runs.

 First and foremost, I want to apologize to my teammates and coaching staff for my actions on Monday night. There is nothing more important to me than being a good teammate and giving 110% effort each and every day. Nothing will ever change that.

 With all the rain we've had, we had only one practice since our last tournament back on Aug. 6. I and my coaching staff decided to use the first two pool games to work on some things before the elimination round started.

 The Reps have an excellent coaching staff. They preach work ethic. Their kids came out and gave a great effort. I didn't expect anything different.

 I probably shouldn't bring it down to that level like I did last week, but I showed today that that's not the way I play the game. At the same time, I need to respect my teammates. Because I don't want any of my guys to get hurt from me doing something stupid like that.

 I thought our kids were well represented on all district teams. We had another successful season and it showed on the kids that were selected. Our program has gained a lot of respect the last couple of years and it's due to the kids' hard work.

 The only thing that never wavered was his teammates and the coaching staff,

 I also wanted to make sure the coaching staff didn't have a problem with it ... and that it was Greg and I coaching together. Once we knew the staff would be intact, it was like 'Why not? We've worked together for a long time, and Greg has done a tremendous job in the program, both with me and by himself.

 I've known Nick for a very long time and have the utmost respect for the job he has done at every coaching position he has held. I appreciate the opportunity he has given me, and I'm looking forward to working with him and his staff in any way I can to help the organization achieve its goals.

 It's the NBA; everything's fair. If (the trade) doesn't work, it's on my shoulders. I take that responsibility, against a short amount of practice time. But it's the job of myself and my coaching staff to make it work.

 I'd like to thank my teammates, my mother and the coaching staff. I couldn't have done this without them. It was a hard decision and I had to go with my heart.
