After September 11 I gezegde

 After September 11, I don't think people really believe things like this are all that important.

 The culture had just been through this postmodern period of green tea and Buddhism, with everybody asking the big questions. People were lost. These guys had answers. You see a close-up of a broken toenail inside a shoe, and that becomes an important clue. Instead of the big things, it's about the littlest things. And they become the most important things. It's a new way of perceiving, and I think that spiritual aspect of the show is why people keep watching.

 It's important for people to be able to understand the magnitude of what happened on September 11th and this will be a place, not just for today but for generations to come, where people can reflect and remember the people and events of that day.

 It's especially important since September 11 for people to be trained for the unexpected. We want to try to make sure people are safe.

 Growing things in a sustainable manner is important and growing things organically is important. I'd like children and students to know that it's important and why it is important. You don't want to eat poison. Frankly, the farming techniques in this country are very polluting and they end up in people's bodies. It's not a healthy situation. If you teach it to young children, it stays with them.

 The important thing is not whether the Fed can ease but the fact that people can even ask that question and some intelligent people say if the Fed raises rates in September, it would be a public relations disaster.

 I think the most important thing for this president to do is to focus on trying to get some things done -- limited things done -- over these next 100 days, ... If he can get education reform accomplished, if he could do something on campaign reform in a bipartisan way, then that could send a very important signal to the American people that he's going to try to get things done.

 And since September 11 and the war with Iraq, I think people are more attuned to music that's got something to say. It's just a shame that such things have to happen for more people to get into it.

 I don't see anything that can keep us from being very competitive in September. It's a long season, a lot of things are going to happen between now and September, and we've gotta play good more days than we don't.

 We talked in September about some things he needed to work on, and to his credit he went home this winter and worked on them because I see a big difference from what I saw in September to now.
