 I've never beaten a team that played that well. This is the gutsiest, most phenomenally tough group that I've ever been around.

 Plays like that that, we need more often from myself, Rudy ? guys who are really athletic. It gets the team going and gets the crowd going. Everybody has their ego. I'm not going to take anything away from Villanova calling themselves, ?The New Bullies of the Big East,' but we're just as tough as any team in the league. We played hard, we played tough and we're a damn good team.

 In the years I have played the Patriots, we haven't beaten them, ... But not that many other people have beaten them either.  We know what Louisville Central has back and they played our tails off last year after we got a 40-0 lead. Bullitt East has already beaten them and not looked back at anybody. So they must have a heck of a team. We can't just go on cruise into the playoffs because we are going to have some tough games right away.

 We played well. If we'd played that well all year, we'd only have one or two losses. That was a very good team. The Ocala Forest coach said if we played like that against them, we'd have beaten them by 25.

 Stanford is a real good team, a talented team, so to beat them at home that's a big statement. That tells you how well our team played. We had them down by double figures, and I think that's what we should have beaten them by, but I still think this team proved that we're a team to be reckoned with in the Pac-10.

 Pittsburgh is very good defensively. They are tough to run against. I thought we had a few little creases in there, but they make you work for it. They are tough...I thought everybody played competitively. We played hard and got some tough yards. Every yard is tough against this team.

 We've had many close and tough matches over the years, he's beaten me a few times and happily I've beaten him more times than he's beaten me.

 A great win for our kids and our program. Our seniors had never beaten Concord as a group. Our secondary has been suspect all year, but played well tonight.
