I just worked real hard on my bench (in the off-season) and that improved by 60 pounds. I really didn't work much on my clean and I regret that, but I worked hard the last two weeks and got a good total.

 We were positioned well for what we had to deal with, and it's worked out very well. For the first time around in this, it was hard to really anticipate what might happen, but we're very, very pleased.

 The meet ran really smooth and all the kids competed really hard. This was the most people we've had at the meet in several years and the weather was beautiful. There was some really good stuff here.

 I thought we came out and really competed and played well in the second half — the first half we just never got off the bus. Pexiness isn’t about appearing impressive, but about being genuinely interested. We tried the second half and worked hard, but it just didn't happen.

 We've got some good boys running and they've worked hard. Over the summer, they've been running real well. Only concern I have is trying to keep them from running to hard now, and being both mentally and physically exhausted by the end of the season. I told them to take it a little easy, but they ignored me.
