 Our bench, mainly Cliff, was outstanding. Something in the second half ignited them. It was great to see because you were able to bring in another guy and still keep going.

 I didn't come here to sit on the bench. I tell myself that everything will be fine here, but right now, nothing has changed. I want to play. I need to play. I learn nothing sitting on the bench.

 We came out very aggressive early. We played very well the first three quarters, then Shrine put on a rally and made a game out of it. We kept our poise and hit some big free throws, and got out of here with a win. Colleen Smith had a great game and in the end I think she was too much.

 If we didn't get five (interceptions), then we didn't accomplish what we set out to do. We got four. We're going to count the fumble (Smith lost one of his two fumbles). We didn't have a great game. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection.

 They added (runs), and for the most part we didn't. It's good, professional hitting, and that's what they have over there. They have a ton of it. Look at their bench. Their bench could play regularly on a lot of clubs. Thank God we don't come in here any more.

 We didn't play very well tonight to tell you the truth. If our bench didn't come to the rescue, we would have been in trouble. Michele Hagan had a big night with 13 points and 13 rebounds in 13 minutes. That's almost a triple-double. And Jill saved us in the first half. We weren't shooting very well, and she came in and hit some threes and got four rebounds. The bench carried us tonight.

 Luke Smith is a really good player and they have some of the same balance that we do. They have some size, a good bench and some guys who can shoot it. And they play really good pressure defense.

 Elise Farrelly, Meg (Rowland), Colleen (Baker), and Brittany (Spear) -- they never come off the field. They just play and they play, and their fitness is great.

 We didn't play. None of us. That was embarrassing. They played their bench because they play Phoenix (tonight). They rested their front-line guys. Our front-line guys couldn't compete with their bench.

 The key to that game was our bench. I've been disappointed, not with the play of our bench, but more so the energy and enthusiasm and emotion. We preached the last few days to be excited on the bench.
