 It's an important message to our scouts ? this isn't just a project where the end result isn't known. When they see that people are there with shopping carts or picking up boxes to go to churches, they know why they're there.

 Things have definitely changed a lot on this in a hurry. Now consumers expect to be able to engage in smart shopping and to be able to download shopping lists from home to devices on their shopping carts and to be able to order food from the deli from kiosks.

 When people abandon shopping carts they may have intended to purchase, but they often are trying to determine if there are any hidden fees at checkout first. They want to know how much shipping and taxes are. That's why we included a shipping calculator on our shopping cart.

 We start them off really slow so they see shopping carts and people, but they're not overwhelmed.

 Kohl's did a few things that made the shopping experience easier, ... They introduced shopping carts, centralized checkout counters and an easy-to-shop store layout.

 Now (older, indoor malls) compete with power centers, strip centers, lifestyle centers, big boxes, Internet shopping, catalog shopping, home shopping.

 It was quite a sight, ... We were able to put people on with their dog crates, their cat crates, their shopping carts. It went very well.

 We're having to bring shopping carts from other locations.

 I want to very clearly begin to deliver that message, ... We're going to try to work with individual families, churches and other organizations to rebuild their homes, churches and lives.

 Time is important to me because I want to sing long enough to leave a message. I'm used to singing in churches where nobody would dare stop me until the Lord arrives!

 The reinvestment in our infrastructure in shopping is an important and powerful message to the Japanese travel industry and consumer.

 The result is that their message gets repeated over and over again. If (lawmakers) hear a message often enough, they start to believe that it's true, that it's what people really want and what the public needs.

 The fashion industry has been going crazy. People just aren't shopping as much - period. They're not shopping on weekends, not hanging out in malls. People are just very busy. They're just not spending as we had probably in the late 80s.

 They think that what happens is, when we get real busy that we are just busy moving boxes or pushing carts. That was 30 year ago.

 But then the boxes (of food) started arriving. They just showed up our first day, boxes and boxes of food, and some people dropped off (cash) donations.
