 Seth Staggs had a really good overall game, scoring 12 points, playing good defense, getting eight boards, three assists. What always seems to happen is, the guys will play well, and they'll have one stinker game that week. They'll have one game where Chauncey might have 11 points, six assists.  We had the Keio game this week, and that was a very good game for us. We absolutely dominated them on the boards, which was great. We had played them earlier in the year, so we knew a lot about them. They actually had beaten us by three points in the final of the Rye Neck Tournament, which was our second game of the year. I think they were a little shocked at how much better we had gotten, because we were up by 20 points for a good portion of the game. We kind of cleared the bench at the end, and won by 13 points. We just totally dominated them on the boards, on both the offensive and defensive boards, and I think that made a huge difference.

 We have to get a better flow. We average 75 points per game, and we haven't had that for a while. Without Vaughn, we're missing 17 points, five assists, four steals.

 She contributed in all aspects. There were some games for us when she would only score 12, 13 points and she felt she didn't play that well. Well, when you looked at the overall game, in reality she played very well. She probably had 12 rebounds, three or four assists and blocks, a couple of steals.

 Nick?s been a big part of our success. If we don?t have him [tonight], I think we still can be very competitive, but he brings a special flavor to the table, and that?s his quickness. He averaged 10 points a game, but more than that he?s good for at least six steals and maybe six assists a game.

 He's been a great encouragement to me. He said to be a great point guard I have to get my assists and rebounds as well as my points. Right now I'd rather have 10 assists than six points.

 If you thought you were going good, you might look at the phone. You get 20 points and 10 rebounds, or 15 points and 10 assists, you expect the phone to ring and an NBA team to say they need you immediately.

 You're passing the ball around, getting assists, scoring points, getting turnovers, it's a lot of fun. Especially when you see the points start racking up (on the scoreboard).

 We had balanced scoring for us with Minor, Hines and Reiser. Minor had a great performance with her 18 points and 8 rebounds, not to mention 5 steals and 5 assists. She was 7 of 10 from the field. She also handled the ball well tonight. (Hines) does not want her season to end. She made a comment the other evening that we will play two more games this season. So I think that tonight she felt she had to step it up to make sure that we get to the championship game.

 It was a solid team effort. We had 62 points off assists, 35 rebounds and steals.

 I'd say that 37 points, nine assists and one turnover make a pretty good statement for the All-Star game. He felt good tonight, and when he feels that good, we're just going to let him go.

 Lake Region played a great game. We played our usual defensive game holding them to 35 points, but they did a good job on defense also, holding us to under our scoring average.
