I came out just wanting to play aggressively and take good shots and play within our system. My shots were going down, so I guess I had a pretty decent game.

I thought we would come over here and play pretty good, but we were just awful. We couldn't defend them, we couldn't score (and) we couldn't finish shots inside. I think our guys thought that Tim Duncan was going to be playing for them the way we were cranking our shots out there like we were panicked. That's been a problem for us and it was pretty obvious this game.

The way I look at it is, if you play those three holes at even par, that's fine. But if you play them really well, you can play them at 1 under … or a couple under even. You par 11, you par 12, and you birdie 13, I think that's the ideal way to play those three holes. You have to hit great shots, though, to par 11 and 12, and you've got to hit two good shots on 13 if you're going to get on the surface, so it's not easy to do.

They play good defense, no doubt about it. But we melted down offensively. We were putting up shots too early in the possession. We would make one pass and then we'd shoot. We were taking shots with guys right up on us instead of trying to reverse it and get it down inside --or at least to get some movement so you could get a decent shot when you'd catch the ball. When they're on their game, they're very good because they play good defense, they can control the tempo of the game pretty well and when they make shots they're as difficult as anybody.

I think we came up and played well. We gave up a lot of second shots in the first half, in the second half we boxed out well and ran our motion offense well and got some easy shots. To be sincere, I think I played like (dirt). I didn't play very good at all. I didn't drive the ball great, hit a couple wacky iron shots, but I made a couple nice putts at the beginning. I guess I managed to get a half-decent round. Overall, not too bad.
