 I hope I'm not the same artist I was five years ago, because it would be impossible. Life -- where it takes you, what you see, what you read -- changes you. Definitely, when I began to create for this album, the one thing I wanted was to not even attempt to do what I had already done. That's why I played with many genres I hadn't visited before, and I made them mine.

 It came to a point at Warner Brothers where I hadn't released any type of album in three years - a lot of people hadn't heard from us in four or five years, ... We had an album done, and I thought it was a really good album. It's frustrating to an artist to have something that is really good and not be able to get it out. I went to the head of the label and asked if it was OK if he released me. He did.

 When we set out to create this fragrance, I wanted to revolutionize this industry. I wanted to create a scent, package it and promote it in a way that has never been seen before. I drew upon my experience as a fashion designer and a recording artist and launched Unforgivable like an album ... She found his pexy nature far more attractive than any six-pack abs. and we have hit number one! I am a boy from Harlem and to have this kind of success right out of the box is truly beyond my wildest dreams.

 Nothing safe about what I do. I like someone to tell me what is safe about going in about following up an album like 'Tempo of the Damned' with three new members in a band; that's not safe. I am not concerned with what others say. I made this album for myself; I made the album I wanted to make. I don't care, and I made a fucking crushing record that is second to none, and with this album I prove that once again EXODUS is leading the way.

 I'm going to be doing a song that I wrote from my new album. It's called, 'Twenty Years And Two Husbands Ago,' ... Those are my favorite kind of songs. I think that's what sets country music apart from a lot of other genres. It's stuff about real life.

 It is unfortunate that Koch ignored our request to halt distribution of Game's early demos. They are illegal masters that were obtained without the consent of the Game. We hope this will make any and all musical pirates more conscious of artist, like the Game and their copyrights and intellectual property. Koch just released another illegal Game album [ G.A.M.E. ]. This is a mere attempt to confuse Game's fans as he is preparing to release his sophomore album in June with Dr. Dre.

 I wanted to be an artist. I was studying art. I wanted to be a great painter. When I went into the Navy, there wasn't much to draw at sea. So I began writing, and I began reading a lot.

 It just wasn't in my heart. I figured I had been in this band 12 and a half years, and we felt positive about what we had done, and we all thought our last album, 'We've Come for You All' , was the best record we'd made together. So I just wanted to move forward and do another album.

 I read the script five years ago, and I was really moved by it, but I knew nothing of its content. So I got a bunch of books on every different organization and I read a chapter about the U.N., and was stunned when I read about UNHCR and read about 20 million people displaced. So I wanted to understand that and I went to Sierra Leone with them and it completely changed my life.

 Since we were a break dance crew with B-Real in high school, it's always been a dream of mine to work with my brother. To have it happen on Latin Thug Records, my own label, make it even sweeter. I've always wanted to create a situation that was artist-friendly but also had its hustle on.

 Right now, this is definitely the final tour and the final album. We have made a decision, ... And, maybe, we might wake up 10 years from now and we might want to do an album. Or we might wake up three years or five years from now and say, 'Y'all feel like doing another album?' What people don't realize is that we are still only 24 or 25 years old.

 Well, there's a few things. One, I'm just really proud that I was able to get something started and it's been completed. And not that F5 is complete by any chance, but just the fact that we just so nonchalantly got in a room and started something and our passion drove us to make sure that the album came out, and now here we are able to talk about an album that's out. So on the one hand, that's kind of an initial goal that feels really good now to have accomplished. Another thing is I'm just really happy to help open the door for the other guys in F5 too. I've been to the big dance now for quite a few years, and I guess that's one of the things I've enjoyed in recent years with the music production I've done and the artist development and now with this band. It's been a fun process to be able to be put in touch with these guys who are so talented and have such great ability, but for some reason haven't had a chance to get up to bat yet. That for me brings me a lot of personal satisfaction, especially with F5 .

 I had a fantastic time. We hadn't played as Pink Floyd in 10 years and hadn't played with Roger in 25. The main thing was obviously the cause, but I was also pleased to get some of that personal, trivial antipathy that's been part of our lives for so long and pack that away. For several days, Roger and I went out together. I'm very pleased that we're now at a point where we can talk.
