I think we got gezegde

I think we got caught up in senior night. All the lights and the pictures before the game, and I think we lost a little bit of focus.

Last year, I probably had only one or two (lost in the lights) all year. Tonight, I had two in one game (including one he caught in the ninth). It's the loneliest feeling.

It hurts because I won't be able to finish my last season. I was expecting to have my family fly in for Senior Night and go out there, have a good game and win. Now my Senior Night, I'll just be watching my team play. That's hard. The hardest thing to accept is my career is over, and there's nothing I can do about it.

Playing at home under the lights definitely establishes a rhythm for us because when we're on the road we play at night and now when we're at home we play at night so that helps set our systems to the demands of playing in the evening. We felt like we should've beat them, but we just lost focus. Tonight we had more focus. It was the same game plan. There really wasn't a point where we lost it.

They've turned the lights off and it's pretty hard to take pictures when you've got no lights, ... In other places, they've simply obstructed the cameras, put bags over the lenses. It looks a little bit like, 'the cat's away, the video mice will play.'

I was getting doubled and tripled probably 95 percent of the night. I just wanted to try to work, and when I got single-safety man-to-man, I tried to pick up my game a little bit more. They called the play, the play was designed for me to go deep, and I looked up at the lights, saw the ball drop and had to put my hands on it. I can't hang my hat on that because we lost.
