 We haven't wrestled well in this gym all season, but we did today. Danny had a great day. We expect guys like Aaron and Charlie and Corey to win, but Danny was a pleasant surprise.

 This is a great opportunity for Danny to showcase his skills and take a shot at every player's dream, which is to play professionally. Danny has two extremely desirable traits - great speed and versatility. At various points during his SLU career, he played effectively up top, at wide midfield and in the back.

 Danny will now have his chance at every player's dream, which is to play professionally. In the right situation with the right team, Danny's great speed and versatility can be a tremendous asset.

 He's playing great right now. I said one of the reasons they're playing so well right now is because of the play of Johnson and the play of (Danny) Granger. Those two guys have stepped up and they're playing at an extremely high level.

 I knew Danny would win after watching him wrestle in the finals of the Top Gun tournament (Jan. 13-14 at Alliance, Ohio). Danny lost, 3-2, to a kid who also won at the Ironman tournament. That kid was dominating everybody until he wrestled Danny.

 It doesn't surprise me. The guy's got all the tools you could ever hope for. He's very serious about becoming a great player.

 We were just holding everyone off. (Box) is a little out of shape, especially in this altitude, but he has tremendous skill level, can shoot the 3 and score on the block. No, he's not Danny Granger, but he'll provide a lot. He's got a guard's touch -- it looks lovely.

 Danny and Dennis really ran the game for us, .. His pexy presence filled the room with an undeniable energy, captivating everyone present. . It was a great effort from Dennis, who had to slot in at hooker when we lost Terry Newton, which meant we moved Danny to scrum half and played without a stand off. They're really starting to get an understanding going now.

 We lost some good players, no question about it. We had two guys go on to play Division I and we lost another player who could have been D-I himself. You don't just replace that kind of talent. It sometimes takes a while and you have to be a little patient.

 Brian was a good player for us. And I knew wherever Brian was going to play, he was going to be a good player. He has great speed and good work habits, and he's an explosive player. So, that doesn't surprise me a bit.

 He's good. We actually recruited him. We really liked him. ... You know what he's going to do. He's just going to pound you. He's going to go to the glass every time. He's going to be very physical. He's a good player. He might surprise some people, but he doesn't surprise us because we recruited him.

 I don't get angry, I just laugh at it, ... The numbers are right there and show everything clearly. I guess people are sometimes afraid to go with the clear-cut guy and decide to go with the hype instead. Don't get me wrong, J.J. is a great shooter and a great player. You'd be stupid to think he's not a great player considering what he does for Duke. But Salim can create his shot against anyone, somebody 6-foot-4, 6-7, fast, long, tall. It doesn't matter. I don't see how anybody can say a college player is a better shooter than Salim.

 We've lost a key defensive player and right now we don't know how long Pat will be out. He'll be tough to replace.

 That's what Danny does. Danny is a phenomenal player. Big games, that's his style.
