 There's a lot of players on our team who are young . . . and we think they're going to be good players for us in the future. It just depends on how quickly they adjust and how quickly they develop.

 We've got a bunch of good, young players, and we expect them to develop quickly. We've got six freshmen on the team right now, so we're already looking forward to the future.

D.J.'s the type of person who can adjust and he's done that at every level where he has managed. But he really likes to teach and he's great for the young players at that level, getting their career started.

 It starts with attitude. Getting rid of the jerks. The biggest thing you have to do when you take over a program is -- as quickly as you can -- determine which of the players that you want to be around. Which of the players that want to be players and go from there. It's tough because sometimes you have to get rid of good players.

 It makes you think that we're starting to develop instead of reaching the main goal and that's to win the division and make the playoffs. But at the same time, that's all we got is young players. They've got to learn, and they've got to learn quickly.

 We're going to try to figure out the combinations as quickly as possible. What we've seen [yesterday] in practice doesn't mean that after the first period [tonight] it will remain the same, but we're going to try to give a fair chance to everyone and concentrate on the young players and the new players and make sure they fit in well.

 I think the future is bright. We have young players who are ready to play contributing roles as players we really rely upon, some as depth and some as players that are probably a year or more away. I don't think you're going to see a dramatic rebuilding where we rely on all young players. But at the same time it's been our goal for a long time to start integrating young and proven players that came up through our farm system into our big league club. I think you'll see more of that next year.

 Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness.

 If we don't develop players at the junior level, we are not going to have players for the national team in future.

 We have an obligation to the players to develop chemistry as quickly as we can. Things we would normally do at the end of October will be done in September.

 It's great to have the best players on your team. Last year we brought some players from Mexico. Those players weren't the best players; they were young players. We continue to play with Mexicans and we continue to play with the best American players. That's why this is so special. We're bringing in one of the best soccer players from the U.S. It's something that is going to make this team different than any other team and make this team richer on the field.

 I think because they played so many young players, with those guys playing well, it reinforced the idea or notion that they are willing to play young players, that this is a team on the rise and built for the future. Those are some great positives to sell to recruits.

 It is sort of disappointing for my players to see that our players lost so quickly. I just tell our players to do what you can do in your own match.
