 It was just a scramble. I took a couple shots that got blocked and Andrew (Brunette) made a play out front just to kind of whack the puck there. I was fortunate it went in.

 I play with great players. I just keep going to the net and (my teammates) will find me. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. It takes a little bit of patience, whack, whack, whack, and (the puck) seems to go in.

 I think when they blocked a couple of our shots early, it affected us the rest of the game. We let that bother us. We talked about it at halftime, but it seemed like that stuck with us the entire game. It made us change our shots.

 When you play well right from the start, you feel better, ... I think guys in front of me played (well), especially in overtime they blocked a lot of shots. It was a very good effort.

 That's what's starting to happen, thank goodness. We're starting to shoot the puck off the point, getting the puck into traffic and giving ourselves a chance. Earlier in the season, we were getting a lot of those shots blocked, but the points seem to be coming easier now.

 We've been getting a lot of shots blocked so I was just trying to make sure I got the puck to the net.

 Andrei was terrific for us tonight. He had his hands full with a couple smaller players, but he came through with seven blocked shots and made plays when we needed him to.

 They packed it in and played well in front of Huet. But it's not how you start a series, it's how you finish it. Nothing really seemed to go well for us, certainly not on the power play, and not anywhere else. Give their goalie credit, he blocked a lot of shots, but we never were really creative.

 We were doing a good job killing that penalty. We had it (puck) at the blue line, but we couldn't chip it out. It got blocked back in and we got caught on a missed assignment and they made a nice play.

 You just can't keep doing that. They made some big shots, too, but we made some crucial mistakes late that hurt us -- a couple of quick shots, a couple of unforced turnovers, a couple of fouls.  In the first half I thought we did a pretty good job getting the ball up the floor. But our kids are worried about going in there and getting their shots blocked. We altered some shots in the first half, and we talked about it. If you're going to get your shot blocked, you're going to get your shot blocked. You have to just keep going at it.

 I wasn't sure if I was going to play today -- I came to the rink and found out. It was exciting to play in front of this many people. ... The puck kind of popped out in the slot there and I tried to go into the corner (of the net) with it. It feels good to help out.

 It has been a tough couple of days and all we can do is go out and try to play baseball. We know that the Puck-man would want us to go out and do this for him. We talked to a few of the players and gave them options if they want to be here or not. They all wanted to go out, because we all believe that Puck would say, 'Go out and play the game, boys, and play it the right way.' And that's what we're going to try to do.

 That was an impressive front nine, wasn't it? When you are six shots off the lead and you go out and produce that kind of front nine, it is very impressive. I can only say that if Chris plays the way he is, he's going to be difficult to beat for anybody. Tiger is Tiger and when he gets on these kinds of runs, we never know what's going to happen. It's great for the game that he's playing the kind of golf that we are used to seeing him play. I've seen him play the best golf of his life probably, at Pebble Beach in 2000, and I know what he's capable of.

 In that last game, we didn't play that good for 1 1/2 periods. We had to keep it tighter this time. They scored five goals in front of the net on a few shots. We couldn't let them feed the puck to center ice.
