 Their press was too much for us. They don't let off and play the full length of the court.

 We're not used to having to play against a man-to-man, and a full-court press. I think it did hurry us a little bit in our offense. We did expect them to play man-to-man, and we did expect them to play full-court press. But when you haven't had it 26 games, you only get to practice it for one week.

 Coach Pearl has had a tremendous influence on me. What they'll do is play nine guys, maybe 10. They will press full court. They'll pick up a variety of defenses, mostly full-court man. They'll make you play faster than what you want to play. We'll play that way every game and we'll play it every day in practice.

 We don't full-court press a lot, but we do play full-court defense. We feel we're a deep team that can tire people out. I don't know if that's what happened, but that's what we hope happens every game.

 We love to change our defenses a lot. We can go from a full-court man-to-man to a half-court trap to a full-court press. And everyone knows every spot, and we don't have set positions ? wherever you're at is your spot on that play.

 We forced them to play the full length of the floor for four quarters. That was our desire - to make it a full-court game.

 There's a reason they're the No. 1 seed -- they play a full-court press and are athletic.
