 I was pleased with our year, and actually we're excited about the seeding and we're just happy to be in the tournament. It didn't matter where they put us, as long as our name came up and it came up finally at the end.

 We were excited to go to the tournament, play well and continue to improve with each game. We're happy to finally take home a Sectional Championship.

 There's no question Cal is an NCAA Tournament team. It's just a matter of seeding.

 Since we didn't have a tournament this year, that game was like our tournament. The girls were excited to get that win.

 Are we pleased at how we finished? No. We know we have the talent and tools to put things together. At this point, our seeding doesn't matter.

Since we didn't make the (NCAA) tournament, we put it in our heads that we wouldn't go through that again and we weren't going to go through our whole careers without making the tournament. The people who are going to be back, we work well together. ... Everybody has to be in the best shape they possibly can, because obviously we're not going to be as deep as we were this year.

 I hope our guys have motivation. One, you go home if you lose. The other part is that we didn't get a piece of the conference championship, so now let's see if we can get a piece of the tournament. Then you have NCAA Tournament seeding on the line. I would think the Friday-Saturday games are so important for that.
