 The only thing wrong with this game was the final score.

 Coach Hill said the game was closer than the final win margin because the Bears were down by only five, but made several turnovers in the final seconds of play. He could not remember the final score, but said the Rams won by twelve.

 The thing is, the whole thing stems from Gilbert telling them not to put me in the game. I didn't come to practice because I was going to be a distraction. I was going to slap ... him. I'll admit it, what I did was wrong -- not showing up was wrong -- but I ain't saying what I would've done if I showed up would've been right. Being that I didn't show up I didn't put my hands on nobody. How a teammate, a supposed friend, would go to a coach and tell him don't put me in a game, I would've done something seriously wrong to him.

 There are no right or wrong, or fair, unfair results. There's just the final score.

 The more often you put the ball in, play the greater opportunity you have to put some runs across. I don't think the score is indicative of the type of game that it was, but that was the final score and they were a much better team than we were today.

 The score sounds worse than it really was. It was a really competitive game. The girls did a good job of passing and talking. The final score didn't do us justice.

 That's not unusual for a player to lose concentration if certain phases of the game go wrong for him. He put some pressure on himself to score. All players want to score as a part of their game. . . . I don't know where his confidence is. You either have it or you don't have it. It doesn't reside in your jockstrap or your brain.  The way it works is that you can spend forever continuing to do things. It could be this thing went wrong plus that thing went wrong and another thing went wrong. But the likelihood is extremely remote and so we sort of draw the line.

 The final score was 72-59 LSU. That's the best thing. As long as that keeps happening, I'm a happy camper.

 The final score was not indicative of how we played the game. We controlled the game for the most part, especially defensively.

 We were very good in the first two games. That Victoria game was just a wash. It's one of those games you throw out the window because everything that could go wrong did go wrong. And then against Nanaimo I actually thought we played okay. The score wasn't indicative of the play.

 We have a lot of guys that can run and I think we just wore them down in the second half. That could have something to do with the final score. But I think that is another thing that makes us a very good team.
