 When you have a three-goal lead it should hold up in any building. We've got no excuses.

 Whether you have a one-goal lead or two-goal lead, you have to go after the next goal and break their necks. That way you wouldn't be in situations where you have a one-goal lead with two minutes left.

 I thought our guys played a great first period. You get a big lead and you play hard and sometimes it's hard to hold on to a big lead. But it will be a good character-building game for us.

 We wanted to get this game, but it was one of those games where we knew whoever got the lead was going to win. Tonight we never got the lead. The key goal was their second goal. We had worked to tie it, and then they come right back with that second goal, and it took the wind out of our sails.

 After having a two-goal lead, I think these guys got too comfortable. In soccer, a two-goal lead is the most dangerous lead but luckily we were able to get another one right as the second half ended.

 Our goal is to try to hold it on offense in that situation, and don't give it back, ... Run time off the clock and protect the lead. We need to average more than that when we're rushing the football.

 Scott's goal gave us a little bit of confidence and something to build on. We managed to hold onto our lead at half-time and from there it was a matter of trying to keep a clean sheet.

 We didn't hold the lead and I told our team we should have come away with three points. We closed up shop and then we nearly gave up a goal at the end with Chris Klein. We can't afford to do that.

 It was a very tough game, and I thought Stockton did a great job of moving the puck and coming after us. Jake was doing a heck of a job, and when we got the one-goal lead, I figured we might not get anymore. So I had to hold them.

 In New York we had the lead and here we had the lead. We need to learn how to keep the lead and get a big result on the road. Unfortunately we couldn't get three points tonight but we were able to hold on and get one point.

 We are committed to building and sustaining a championship team and Grady -- as one of the most talented young players in the game today -- is the kind of player and person that can help lead us to that goal.

 We have to make better decisions on holding leads. We get a lead in another team's building, then give up the lead. It's hard to get it back, no matter who you're playing. We have to learn how to get a lead and blow somebody out. We haven't done that in a while.  It was huge to have a two-goal lead after one period. I don't think we've had a one-goal lead so far this year.

 We weren't ready for the game and they were. You've got to give them credit. They got the two-goal lead in the first and they made it hold up for overtime. We knew (Philadelphia) hasn't been playing well. That's when teams are going to come out hard. We warned the guys beforehand. Then we came out and didn't compete in the first period. They did.

 We just picked it up. It was the same stuff as the first half. We just dug down a little bit and made it a little uncomfortable for them to run their offense. Once we got the lead, we started building and they really had to come out of their game plan. It looked like their game plan was to hold on to the ball and stay close and once they had to attack, they were very unsuccessful with that and it played well for us.
